Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Kara Kramer
Dr. Kara Kramer is a Board Certified periodontist and implant surgeon. She spends her time in private practice at West Cobb Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. She is currently adjunct faculty at Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Oral Surgery and volunteers with residents at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic in Atlanta, GA. She is active in professional societies including the ADA, GDA, Hinman and Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Emily Williams
Dr. Emily Williams, an Atlanta native, is a board eligible periodontist and implant surgeon. She graduated summa cum laude from Sewanee: The University of the South, where she earned a Bachelors of Arts in Latin and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She matriculated to the Dental College of Georgia, where she was one of only four percent of students in her class elected to both Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society, and Alpha Upsilon Phi, the national dental service and leadership society.

WOW. I’ve never felt more at ease and comfortable at a doctor’s office. Dr. Kramer was amazing as well as her staff. I felt comfortable and welcome in the waiting room and it didn’t stop after my initial visit. The day of surgery was just as comforting. Dr. Kramer and her staff answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed when asking multiple questions regarding my procedure. They actually care about your issue at hand and take the time to explain whatever questions you have and do it with a great attitude and positivity. I never felt like I was just another patient, I felt valued and genuinely cared for. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND West Cobb Periodontics.

I had an accident during the Covid-19 shut downs where my front tooth was knocked loose. Luckily, I found Dr. Kramer who was still open. She did a phenomenal job on my extraction and bone graph. Her and her staff took all precautions necessary and followed the guidelines of Covid-19 to be safe during the procedure. I did not even feel anything and was pleasantly surprised when she told me it was over! Highly recommend for anyone facing an extraction.

My dentist had referred me another periodontist for an infected tooth and for treatment due to periodontal disease...that was mid February I called the other clinic and they made an appointment for the 3/17/21 unfortunately the infection kept getting worse. I called Dr. Kramer’s office and Daniel was super kind and was able to get me seen today (3/4/21) at 10am. From the moment I walked to the moment I walked out it was an amazing experience. Daniel was even nicer in person. The dental assistants were so sweet and attentive. Dr Kramer was very kind and informative. Explained the procedure step by step. She called me a few hours after I got home to see how I was doing. The facility was clean and inviting. If I could give Dr. Kramer and her staff more than 10 stars I definitely would!!
